converse

Voiko kokonaisen päivityksen omistaa kengille? Kokeillaan. Ostin vähän aikaa sitten ekat converseni. Tai no oikeasti ostin vihreat converset yläasteen ensimmäisellä, ja myin ne heti kaverilleni. Ei oiken napannut toi koko converse höpötys ja massakenkäisyys, lisäksi ne alkoi puristamaan heti ekalla juoksulla. Nyt on mielipide ilmeisesti muuttunu. 

Nyt oon ehtiny totutella siihen ajatukseen että jokaisella löytyy ainakin yksi pari converseja. Miksi ne on niin hyviä, mietin. Miksi ihmiset niitä haluaa? Kun kymmenen hengen porukassa tutkailee kaikkien jalkoja, on ainakin yli puolella nämä maagiset kengät. Punaisia, valkoisia, mustia, jenkki- ja englantilippuja. Varmasti jostain löytyy kengät joissa on vaikka pienien norsujen tai huulipunapuikkojen kuvia. Ihan varmana! Noiden tossujen keksijä kyllä kierii rahoissaan. 

Spirit Storesta lähtivät nämä punaiset nahka converset 99 eurolla, eikä kaduta yhtään. Nämä on varmaan yksi mukavimpia kenkiä mitä mulla on ikinä ollut. Lisäksi ne tuo kivasti väriä tähän masentavaan syksyyn ;) En ole kenkäfani ollenkaan, ja ostan niitä vaan kun on oikeasti tarvetta. Olen nyt lainaillut siskon converseja niin kauan, että oli ehkä aika hankkia omat. 

I bought my first pair of the most popular shoe in the world. I'm sort of amazed that I didn't buy them earlier. I mean every single teenager you see has at least one pair, if not a few in different colors. I'm pretty sure if you can imagine a type of print in a shoe, it exists for converse. There are so many different kinds; white, black, red, green, denim, a picture of a flag on them.... I bet there is a pair with like pictures of little elephants or something.

Anyway I did buy a pair a couple of years ago, but I hated them; the whole fact that everyone had them made them somehow annoying. And they hurt my feet from the first time I sprinted to the bus-stop. Not good. So I sold them to my friend and though "that's it, never buying them again". Now I did, so apparently I've gotten used to the fact that everyone has them and everyone loves them. And now I love them. 

I got them from Spirit Store for 99 euros, they're leather and they're red. I've never ever had red shoes before, because I like to keep the focus on the clothes and not the shoes. I'm not a shoe fan at all; I only buy them when I absolutely have to and when all my shoes are basically broken. I think this was a very good purchase, definitely worth the money. Converse has really nailed it. 

I'm a little sick, again or still I'm not sure. I'll spend the weekend reading for my tests (next week is test week) and trying to get better. Yesterday my driving lesson was at this track where they'd put oil on the road so we could see how the car's brakes work in bad weather conditions. It was pretty cool to see that the car can do a 360-degree turn :-D

Perjantaifiiliksinä pieni yskä, eikä todellakaan mitään juhlimista tänä viikonloppun, vaan täyttä paranemista. Eilen olin rata-ajelemassa tuolla Vihdin liukasradalla, ja oli aika jännää kokeilla noita kaikkia jarrutuksia. Sitten vielä satu ku saavista, nii oli tuplasti liukkaampaa. Auto vaan käänty 360 astetta ilman ABS-jarruja :D Tunti loppu sitte vähä huonommin kun en vaan päässyt sellasta ylämäkeä parkkihallissa ylös, kun auto vaan sammu joka yrityksellä... vieläkään ei se kytkin ole hallussa. Miten se on niin hitsin vaikeaa. Huomenna varmaan käväsen Habitare messuilla tuolla Helsingin messukeskuksessa kattelemassa kun sain ilmasen lipun. Ensi viikolla sitten koeviikko, mikä tarkottaa mulle kahta vapaapäivää ja viittä koetta, eli aika rentoa viikkoa. Heipsan !
